Brooklyn

Hi everyone! It's been a long time since I've been able to post anything new. I just got back this weekend from my first trip to New York City! A lot of people say that it's a place where you have to visit, because it's such a meaningful place and there's plenty to see. Well they sure are right, I couldn't believe I was really there. Being close by to San Francisco feels like nothing now that I've been to New York City. If you haven't been yet, you need to go at least once.

The second day we were there we decided to venture out to the Brooklyn Bridge, China Town, and Little Italy. It was so fabulous and it was hard not to stop every minute to take pictures of the breath taking city. Stay tuned for more, I have lots to share!
The view walking to the bridge.

Half way on the bridge.

My friend Maricar and I on the bridge.

In New York, you can't help but to look up :}

Awesome locks that people bring to the bridge and have different sayings.

Decided to mark my spot while walking back.

Oh Marc

Let's just start with, I LOVE Marc by Marc Jacobs. I can spot his bags and accessories from a mile away. I never get tired of using my purses and accessories I own. And, better yet, I love when I find great deals on new products. Take a look at what I found the other night at TJMaxx. I didn't even attempt to look for this good bargain, I really went to get a lunchbox for my new job :}

Ring: Marc by Marc Jacobs TJMaxx $16.99
Pin: Marc by Marc Jacobs TJMaxx $19.99

Couldn't be happier to have these two pieces!

Green House Fall

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, I've been busy figuring out a lot of different things. I'm hoping to post some DIY projects and more styling concepts soon! For now I thought I would share some pre-fall looks that I did a few weeks ago. I love that we used a lot of clothing from J. Crew, Anthropologie, and vintage boutiques. While I was looking through inspiration pictures I found that a lot of looks consisted of high knee socks, button up shirts with a sweater, and shorts. Super easy to put together for work or a causal outing. Plus, it looks great when the shirts are two different prints :} Hope you enjoy these photos and to see full size images check out my website.

Behind the scenes of another photo shoot I did a few weeks ago. The concept was California Dreaming. I chose to find outfits that had the American flag, bold colors, and inspiration about living as a California girl. New Shoes...

Are you a shoe lover like I am? Shopping for shoes can be dangerous considering there are a lot of options out there. However, it can be quite difficult too. For me, I have small feet and have a hard time finding shoes. Sometimes when I'm shopping for shoes, I end up giving up. But when I find the right pair just like Cinderella, it's heaven!

Where do you like to buy your shoes? In a store such as Nordstrom or Macy's, how about online shoe shopping. Online shoe boutiques are becoming more popular with the trend of eCommerce shopping sites. Considering this new trend, I was contacted by Le Chic USA, an online boutique carrying exclusive collections of designer jewelry, accessories, shoes, and handbags.

Here's four pairs of shoes that were just added to their site. I've paired the shoes with an outfit choice too! Enjoy!

*I was not asked by Zara.com, Forever 21.com or Pink Stripes to promote their companies. I used to work at Pink Stripes, love their clothing and feel their clothes go well with the shoes from Le Chic USA*

Shoes: Rosa, Le Chic USA- Pretty fuchsia colored woven ballet flats. These can be paired with a detailed dress such as this one or with a pair of skinny jeans and blazer for a day look.
You can find these shoes by visiting http://shop.lechicusa.com/shoes-rosa-p-813.html

Shoes: Carla, Le Chic USA - Mint green open toe pumps with white laces. Super fun colored pumps that give you just enough heel and offer you comfort. You can show off your newly polished toes while pairing these shoes with a crop top and embroidered skirt.
You can find these shoes by visiting http://shop.lechicusa.com/shoes-carla-p-801.html
This top is from Pink Stripes https://www.facebook.com/Pinkstripesstore

Shoes: Carmen, Le Chic USA - Stunning red sparkle peep toe heels. Has great silver detailing on the heel and ankle strap. These beauties go great with a long printed maxi such as this one or a simple black cocktail dress to show off your legs.
You can find these shoes by visiting http://shop.lechicusa.com/shoes-carmen-p-800.html
This dress is from Pink Stripes https://www.facebook.com/Pinkstripesstore

Shoes: Sonny, Le Chic USA - Yellow and orange strapped woven wedges. These are great for the summer, whether you're going to work or a weekend BBQ. Pair these wedges with a pair of destroyed skinny jeans rolled up and a loose sheer tank.
You can find these shoes by visiting http://shop.lechicusa.com/shoes-sonny-p-814.html

Hope you all enjoyed these fabulous shoes! Please check out Le Chic USA for more great finds!

Life as a Stylist

Hello Bloggers! I haven't posted anything new lately as I've decided to change things up a bit. Recently I was contacted by a high school friend who is a photography major at the Academy of Arts in San Francisco. She contacted me about styling for a few shoots for her summer class. Since I am in love with shopping and styling I couldn't resist. The theme was 70's with a modern touch. Here are some images that I used for inspiration while I was out shopping.

On Tuesday the 17th. we drove out to San Jose to an open salt marsh (super windy!). We set up for hair and makeup before making the magic happen!
